Lonewood Mine

Lonewood Mine is one of the last remaining sources of genuine Reddestone Creek sapphire – widely regarded as some of the finest quality blue sapphire in Australia. Sapphires have been mined at “Lonewood” for over 20 years. Traditionally, we have sold all our sapphires in the rough as “mine run” to Thai buyers.  However, we now offer rough and cut gems directly to the public through our online shop - trade buyers should visit our mine run page for information on buying in volume. Please take our virtual mine tour by following the links below - please note the videos are very large (some over 1 MB) and will take time to load.
